Hi there,
I contain the even so muddle on Ubuntu 9.10, 32bit with two iPod classics (4th and 3rd gen). Grab this Addon: http://addons.songbirdnest.com/addon/51
If it isn’t compatible with your songbird understanding (e.g. As I can’t sync my iPods anymore and I don’t mull over that this is customary to unsteadiness lickety-split, I’ve been looking for the well-being of a workaround and I build a moderately dumb individual:
1. 1.3b oder 1.4b) slink this instructions (at your own endanger!) to disable the sail compatibility log in enquire: http://www.getsatisfaction.com/songbi. Make an bright or a run-of-the-mill playlist in Songbird that contains all the songs you wanna sync with your iPod.

2.
3. Use any media order of the day on your the boards to needle to pen on your ipod that is excellent to reveal a playlist dossier (eg. Export the playlist with the addon installed first
4.

rhythmbox, gtkpod, etc.) and sync it to your iPod. Enjoy your music
I’m not beneficial with the undamaged employment about power ratify on Songbird, absolutely on linux, but at least this workaround lets you comfort in your music without having to unsteadiness your selected music order of the day (that mollify is Songbird in my case).
5.
Hope this helps you guys.
